I decided to change my topic to how students balance academics and a job

Interview 1: (Senior, English Major)
How do you balance social life and academics?
I get my work done first and then go out

Do you eat breakfast?
Almost never

Do you keep a daily planner?
No

What kind of job do you have?
I'm a waitress

How much do you work, on average, a week?
About 20-25 hours I'd say

Does it get in the way of your academics?
I rush through things more, so my schoolwork isn't always as good as I would like it to be.

Do you get a healthy amount of sleep?
Almost never, I don't usually have the time too

Do you have any free time? If so, how much?
A little bit, usually I'll see my friends on the weekends if I have enough time.

What has been the best way for you to balance your time?
I really just wing it. Every week is the same routine pretty much.

Interview 2: (Sophomore, Education Major)
How do you balance social life and academics?
I have a weekly schedule on my phone

Do you eat breakfast?
Yes, when I have the time

Do you keep a daily planner?
No

What kind of job do you have?
I work at a food court

How much do you work, on average, a week?
About 20 hours

Does it get in the way of your academics?
No because I'm allowed to do schoolwork or study when work is slow enough.

Do you get a healthy amount of sleep?
Really depends on the night

Do you have any free time? If so, how much?
I make sure to give myself some. I probably see my friends 4 or 5 times a week for an hour or so.

What has been the best way for you to balance your time?
To set aside more than enough time for everything to make sure it gets done right.
